Push back systems can be used for structural or rolling frames. The push back system works by placing the pallet load on a series of carts that are gravity fed forward onto rigid structural rails.
When the pallet is loaded from the front, the pallet pushes the pallet back to a position. The front pallet is unloaded when unloading, and the rear pallet is automatically moved to the front pick position. This allows easy access to LIFO(Last-In-First-Out) inventory management. Operators can store products from 2-5 Pallets, just loading from a single channel.
The Push Back Rack provides more functional storage than the Drive-In rack because each channel flows independently and vertical storage operates separately from the lower channels. Multiple picking panels for various SKUs can be stored and retrieved without disturbing other products above or below in single or double channel formats.
Kingmore's Push Back Rack solution is very low profile. This allows you to store up to five pallet depths and still create more storage space and gaps between layers.
Forklift drivers never enter the shelves. The first pallet is placed on the top trolley and the second pallet pushes the pallet back onto the second cart.
Additional pallets will be placed on the nested car below, and the last pallet will be placed on a sturdy structural rail. As the pallet is removed, each position in the back moves gently forward until all products are finally stopped by the rubber bumper on the front of the system.
